Rev. Okediji warns Baptist Drama Ministers not to take ANCEDRAM for granted

The coordinating minister of western zone 4 for Baptist Student Fellowship, BSF of the Nigeria Baptist Convention, Reverend Samson Olagoke Okediji is warning drama ministers in the Nigeria Baptist Convention not to take All Nigeria Conference of Evangelical Drama Ministers, ANCEDRAM for granted.



Reverend Okediji said this last weekend in an interview session with Gospel Film News at the retreat of Baptist Student Fellowship held in Baptist Convention Ground, Afon, Ilorin, Kwara state.

The man of God who encourage all drama ministers in baptist church to join ANCEDRAM made this known after the ministration of Evangelists Mike Bamiloye and Shola-Mike Agboola who ministered at the retreat simultaneously.


Reverend Samson Olagoke Okediji is a Baptist Pastor, coordinating Western Zone 4 BSF of the Nigeria Baptist Convention. He is a postgraduate student of the Nigeria Baptist Seminary Ogbomoso, who specializes in pastoral care and counseling.

He further give details of the just concluded Baptist Student Fellowship retreat held in Ilorin.

According to him, the retreat is designed specifically for campus ministries alone, the joint campus fellowship of all the campuses in Kwara State, adding that presently, there are nine (9) campuses having Baptist Student Fellowship. All of them come together once a year to fellowship together as campus students and its a retreat programme whereby the students are refired with the focus on how to balance the challenges in the ministry with their academics.



He pinpoint that Nigeria Baptist Convention Student Ministries have two major areas of ministry which are Church based and Campus based ministries with two major conference every year. The Church based comprises of both the youth in the Church and Campus students including the secondary school students, that holds July of Every year and tagged " PERFECTION. "



The Baptist clergy also disclosed how the students execultive was able to bring down the two Drama ministers, evangelists Mike Bamiloye and Shola-Mike Agboola to the retreat, saying the student ministries of the Convention have met by January and agreed on what the retreat will be, but it was surprising how they were able to bring Evangelist Mike Bamiloye and Evangelist Shola-Mike Agboola to the programme.

It was reported that the man of God who made references to the quarterly power  night of Mount Zion and annual Fuel the Fire conference of EVOM confessed that he was not surprised by the working of the Holy Spirit at the programme because he was sure the guest ministers do not carry fire for drama ministry alone.

He finally expressed his overwhelmed joy about participant's decision on commitment to serve God better.
